We have had some questions about the way we do business, so we thought we would explain how "we do business" and suggest the best way to do an order through this business method.

Our goal is to get you the best price we possibly can!  

We are able to do this because of the methods we use to "do business" with you and our suppliers.  

We work with a great number of different suppliers to find the best price we can for the Items you are looking for.  In many cases we are placing your order with the same suppliers that the "parts houses" do.  The difference is that they have much higher overheads than we do and must pass those costs on to you.  These are top name brand items, not the cheap stuff.  We leverage the buying power of our suppliers to get you the best prices we can at any point in time.  We first look at which suppliers have the item(s) you are looking for in stock.  Then we choose the one(s) that has (have) the best prices for them and that is who we order from.  That produces 2 main problems: 1) pricing on our pages and 2) shipping costs.

Pricing on our pages:

The prices on our pages are the last "best price" we have been able to sell that item for in the past.  Your actual cost many be higher or lower depending on who has it in stock at the time of your order.  Our pledge to you is that we will strive to get you the best price we can.  In most cases the cost to you will be at or near wholesale/jobber cost.  It also means that it is very hard for us to put an exact price on our pages.  If you make an order by yourself from our web site, then we will check with our suppliers to find availability and current costs.  We then modify your order with the current prices and send you a link with the updates for your approval.  Once you approved the order, we then place the order with the suppliers we had chosen and they would ship it directly to you.  We are not doing a "bait and switch" by showing you a low cost and then bumping it up when you order!  We work like brokerage company in that we buy from whichever of our suppliers has the item in stock and at the lowest price.  All our new items are sold to you on a strictly cost plus basis.  We do not add any additional costs over the cost plus percentage!  

Shipping costs:

We have placed shipping tables for our suppliers in our system.  Therefore when you place an order a shipping amount should be placed on the order.  This system works only if we purchase the items from the supplier who is listed for that part.  That does not always happen as they may not have it in stock or another supplier may have a better price at that time.  Some of our suppliers have multiple warehouses and we have no control over where an item will be shipped from and that changes the shipping costs as they are based on the from/to distances.  The other part of the shipping equation is that in order to get you the best price we can, we may order your items from more than one supplier as supplier A will have parts 1, 2, & 3 in stock at the best price and supplier B will have the rest in stock at the best price.  Suppliers A & B have different warehouse locations and different shipping rates, therefore we can not give you an "exact" shipping cost at the time of the order as we will not know those costs until we have been invoiced for them by our suppliers.  Shipping is normally 2 to 7 business days from all our suppliers.  

The best way to avoid the above quirks is to: 1) Set up an account on our site.  2) Send us an email at info@willysoffroadsupply.com or call us at 402-421-7412 with your needs.  We will then provide a proposal with accurate prices and a close estimate on the shipping and email it to you for your approval or any changes. Shipping is still an estimate as a few of our suppliers do not have shipping tables and do have multiple warehouse locations that we can not compensate for.  You can then approve the order as is, remove the items you don't like the price on and approve the order, or do nothing and the order will be cancled.  That way everyone knows what they are getting into up front and confusion can be avoided.  We understand that this is not the "normal" way of doing business, but it is the way that we can get you the best possible prices on any given day.
